Common Questions
What is the minimum age to volunteer?
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to handle dogs independently. Youth ages 13-17 can volunteer when accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is necessary! We provide an orientation and specific training for all roles, including dog walking safety and event support.
What is the time commitment?
We are grateful for any time you can give! Most volunteers commit to one shift per week (2-4 hours), but we also have flexible options for special events.
