What will you check during my application?
We take great care in our matching process. We review vet references to ensure current pets are well cared for, perform a basic background check, and contact personal references. Our goal is simply to be sure each dog is going to a safe, stable, and loving home where they can thrive.
When should I expect to hear from the Ridge regarding my application?
Within 4 business days. We move as quickly as we can while ensuring we give every applicant the attention they deserve.Â
Is there an adoption fee?
Yes, our adoption fees help cover the costs of rescue, including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and any necessary medical treatments. This allows us to continue saving more lives at the Ridge.
Can I adopt if I have other pets?
Absolutely! We prioritize finding the right match for your specific household. We will do a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along.Â
